By comparison, Mupen64 does this, and in practice, is a much better effort than this. Specifically for Nvidia Shield, it would be nice to have this app recognize mapped network drives to access and play ROMs.

Why is quicken for mac not adding correctly windows 10. Also, this app does not access network drives. Make it a paid app, or make support optional. I don't mind giving money to support development, but being prompted to pay or lose a save is extortion.
However, the Android port leaves much to be desired. On Windows PC, this is the premier emulator for Nintendo 64.
This means that you can play and use Project64 with out spending any money and make sure it meets your needs and only then support the Project64. This app is licensed by the GNU GPL v32 and the full source code is available at Save support is an in app purchase. Put those games on your SD card / USB storage to be able to play. Dump your own real N64 games, or simply play free homebrew games, which are available online. No games are included with this download. This is an actively developed emulator so more to come. This has very limited testing and I am sure there is a lot of issues that need to be fixed up. I'm releasing this as a public beta version, which means it is a work in progress.
